“Pangako Sa ‘Yo” Debut Dominates National TV Ratings

The highly anticipated modern retelling of
“Pangako Sa ‘Yo” dominated the national TV
Ratings as the newest teleserye of ABS-CBN
earned more than double the national
viewership of its rival program. The pilot
episode of the Pangako Sa ‘Yo garnered a
nationwide rating of 34%, according to the
announcement released by Star Creatives.
The data was based from Kantar Media’s
latest survey results as it opened strong on
Monday, May 25, 2015. The pilot episode tells
the story of Amor Powers, one of the most
memorable character of the internationally-
acclaimed teleserye, Pangako Sa ‘Yo.
According to the data gathered by Kantar
Media, the 34% ratings of Pangako Sa ‘Yo
doubled the national tV ratings of its rival
program “Let the Love Begin,” of GMA-y
which garnered only 15% in TV ratings.
The ratings of Pangako Sa ‘Yo was also
translated to worldwide trends as the official
hashtag of the pilot episode dominated not
only the local trending topic but also the
worldwide trending topic on Monday night.
The debut episode of the top-rating
teleserye, “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” focus on Amor
Powers’ humble past, the series premiere
saw the first interactions of Jodi Sta. Maria
(Amor) with Ian Veneracion (Eduardo
Buenavista), a political scion whom Amor
long admired most. The pilot episode also
features the character of Angelica
Panganiban (Claudia), the would-be nemesis
and fierce rival of Amor.
Based upon the original Pangako Sa ‘Yo,
Amor and Claudia’s respective children, Yna
and Angelo, fall in love but are anguished to
find out that they might be half-siblings.
Kathryn Bernardo will portray the role of Yna
while Daniel Padilla will play the role of
Angelo, both Yna and Angelo are the lead
characters in the series.

Xian Lim Sees Nothing Wrong with Kim-Gerald Reunion Project

Kapamilya actor Xian Lim, the love team of
Kim Chiu sees nothing wrong if his love team
partner will do a reunion project with her
former boyfriend Gerald Anderson. According
to some rumors that surfaced online
recently, a reunion project featuring Gerald
Anderson and Kim Chiu is on the horizon.
According to Xian Lim, although he did not
receive any information with regards to a
possible reunion project with his partner Kim
Chiu and Gerald Anderson, he sees nothing
wrong with it, and it’s just part of their job as
actors.
In an interview during the sidelines of the
Pep List press conference on Thursday, the
25-year-old Xian Lim who was named as the
Pepsters’ Choice Fab Star of the Year (Male)
was interviewed by the media and airs his
statement on the rumored project between
Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.
Although Xian Lim has no idea with the
rumored project of Kim Chiu and Gerald
Anderson, he revealed to the media that his
next project with Kim Chiu will be a teleserye
and a movie.
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim was also a recipient
of the Pepsters’ Choice Celebrity Pair of the
Year during the Pep List Awards,

“Pangako Sa ‘Yo” Set to Conquer the Ratings Game Starting on May 25, 2015

The highly anticipated drama series
“Pangako Sa ‘Yo” is set to dominate the TV
ratings as ABS-CBN announced that the
country’s most succesful TV series will be
having its debut on May 25, 2015. The grand
return of Pangako Sa ‘Yo will feature the
hottest love team of our generations, the
Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo love
tandem.
Aside from the KathNiel love team, joining
them as powerful casts of the TV series are
some of the country’s most talented actors
in the industry, namely Angelica Panganiban,
Ian Veneracion, and Jodi Sta. Maria.
The powerful casts of the TV series will be
guided by three of the best directors in the
Philippines namely director Rory Quintos,
Dado Lumibao, and Olivia Lamasan.
The love story of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” will
revolve around the promise made to each
other by a cook named Amor (Jodi Sta.
Maria) and a young man who grew up in a
wealthy family named Eduardo Buenavista
(Ian Veneracion).
Eduardo was forced to leave the woman he
loves the most and marry the woman his
mother has chosen for him Claudia
portrayed by Angelica Panganiban, because
of his family’s protest against their
relationship.
After the failed relationships of Eduardo and
Claudia, the love story continues with their
son Angelo Buenavista (Daniel Padilla) who
faces the same fate as his father when he
meets and falls in love with a simple young
woman named Yna (Kathryn Bernardo).

Coco Martin To Star In New TV Series Of ABS-CBN

Coco Martin is excellent because he was
chosen to be the star of the new series of
ABS-CBN “Probinsyano” where it was also
been a movie of The King, Fernando Poe, Jr.
The Dreamscape will make the “Probinsyano”
film a tv series and Coco will be the one to
play the former character of FPJ and one of
his leading lady in this project is Angeline
Quinto who has been linked to him before.
So our question is, is their past going to
return? “Probinsiyano” is the next project of
the actor after “Wansapanataym Presents
Yamishita’s Treasures” that can be watched
every Sunday evening wherein he is with Julia

an interview that they feel the pressure of
starring in the remake of ABS-CBN’s most
popular teleserye which was even featured

that she was so happy with the recent
development of the TV series, together with
Daniel Padilla, Kathryn noted that they really

quoted as saying “”Nakaka-overwhelm,
pressure din lalo. So kailangan naming gawin
lahat para hindi namin sila [mabigo],” she

top-rating series, “Forevermore” starring
Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
